1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction and non self-propelled, dismountable design, is engineered to operate seamlessly in both coastal areas and inland rivers. It meets the navigation standards of area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as defined by the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This state-of-the-art dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to the Class III standards specified in the dredging engineering construction technique code by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull features a tri-pontoon design, comprising one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is engineered to facilitate transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger incorporates a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons using bolts at the deck level, hull front, and rear, as well as hooks at the bottom. Additionally, it is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power all other equipment including the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
The hull boasts an all-welded, steel construction, ensuring the structural integrity necessary for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely affixed to the main pontoon via bolts.
High-quality CCSB shipbuilding steel plates are utilized in the hull construction.
