1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is designed to berth and dredge efficiently in any waters, whether coastal areas or inland rivers, adhering to the stringent conditions specified in the navigation area 'A' or below as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. Engineered with precision, the hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. All sections are meticulously sized for seamless transport by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, effectively utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, the dredger’s main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump in turn powers all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Built with all welded, steel construction, the hull ensures the necessary strength required for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
