1.Introduction:
Our Medium Duty Cutter Suction Dredger boasts a robust steel construction and is designed for non self-propelled, dismountable operations. This versatile dredger can berth and dredge in both coastal areas and inland rivers, adhering to the standards akin to those in navigation area 'A' or below, as specified in the Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacture Code of P. R. China.
This dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, meeting the class III standards outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of China.
The hull is ingeniously designed with three pontoons: one main pontoon housing the engine room and two side pontoons. All components are dimensioned to facilitate transportation by road, rail, or water. The dredger's design includes a quick connect-disconnect system for the pontoons using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. It's powered by a marine engine which drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pump energizes all auxiliary equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging activities. Side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull steel plate used is the high-grade CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate).
