1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from high-strength steel and of a non-self-propelled, dismountable design, is engineered to operate efficiently in both coastal areas and inland rivers. It can navigate waters with conditions similar to those in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to Class III standards as outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The robust hull comprises three meticulously designed pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is precisely dimensioned, ensuring the YS-CSD450 dredger can be transported effortlessly by road, rail, or water. It boasts a state-of-the-art rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, front and rear of the hull, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump, in turn, powers all auxiliary equipment including cutters, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull offers the essential strength required for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are firmly attached to the main pontoon via robust bolts.
The hull utilizes CCSB-grade shipbuilding steel plates, renowned for their durability and resilience.
