1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, built with durable steel construction, features a non-self-propelled, dismountable design. It can berth and operate in coastal waters and inland rivers, adhering to navigation area 'A' conditions, as per the P.R. China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code.
This versatile dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, meeting the class III standards set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China for dredging engineering construction.
The hull is ingeniously designed with three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. The YS-CSD450 dredger's components are dimensioned for easy transport via road, rail, or water. Equipped with a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts and hooks, the dredger ensures seamless assembly. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
All welded, the hull's steel construction ensures the dredger's robustness for demanding dredging tasks. Side pontoons are securely fastened to the main pontoon with bolts.
The hull utilizes CCSB shipbuilding steel plates for optimal durability.
