Its construction adheres to the stringent specifications of navigation area 'A' or any areas below the 'A'-line dictated by the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P.R. China.
With the capability to excavate and transport cohesive sediment classified under class III, as per the dredging engineering construction techniques prescribed by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China, this dredger is a powerhouse in any dredging operation.
Designed with efficiency in mind, the hull comprises three sturdy pontoons: one main pontoon housing the engine room and two side pontoons. The YS-CSD450 can be effortlessly transported via road, rail, or water, thanks to its modular design. The pontoons are connected using a specialized rapid connection-disconnection system featuring bolts at the deck level, front and rear hull, and secure hooks at the base. The dredger is powered by a robust Marine engine that drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
