The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from robust steel and designed for ease of assembly and transport, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It can berth and dredge in both coastal areas and inland rivers, conforming to navigation area 'A' or lower, as stipulated in the P.R. China code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
This versatile dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The hull, comprising three precisely engineered pontoons—one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons—is crafted for optimal transportability via road, rail, or water. Innovative rapid connection-disconnection systems, utilizing deck-level bolts, hull front and rear bolts, and bottom hooks, ensure seamless assembly. The dredger is powered by a powerful Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. These pumps energize all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
All-welded, steel construction guarantees the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely fastened to the main pontoon by bolts.
