1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable vessel. Capable of berthing and dredging in various waters, this dredger performs efficiently in both coastal regions and inland rivers, aligning with conditions specified in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line according to the inland river steel engineering ship standards of P.R. China.
This dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, conforming to class III standards as specified in the dredging engineering construction code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
With a hull consisting of three pontoons—one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons—the YS-CSD450 dredger is designed for versatile transportation by road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, facilitated by bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom, it offers seamless assembly and disassembly. The dredger is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment like the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull’s steel plates are made of CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and resilience.
