1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is engineered to berth and dredge in diverse water bodies, whether along coastal regions or inland rivers. It meets the navigation standards of area 'A' or below, as specified in the Code for Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacture of P. R. China.
This state-of-the-art dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to Class III specifications detailed in the Code for Dredging Engineering Construction Technique by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull architecture features three pontoons: a commanding main pontoon housing the engine room, flanked by two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned to ensure the YS-CSD450 dredger is transportable via road, rail, or water. The dredger boasts a swift connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing deck-level bolts, hull-front and rear bolts, and bottom hooks. It is driven by a powerful Marine engine, wherein the main engine propels the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump energizes all ancillary equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed from fully welded steel, the hull ensures the necessary durability and strength for efficient dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon for enhanced stability.
The hull steel plate utilized is the superior CCSB shipbuilding steel plate.
