1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction and designed to be non-self-propelled and dismountable, excels in berthing and dredging at any coastal and inland river waters. It meets the standards of navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture in China.
This dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments in compliance with class III standards in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of China.
The hull features a tripartite design comprising one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is precisely dimensioned for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger incorporates a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. Notably, it is powered by a marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump powers auxiliary equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with all-welded steel, the hull provides the strength essential for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull steel plate is constructed using CCSB, a high-quality shipbuilding steel plate.
