The Cutter Suction Dredger, with a robust steel construction and non-self-propelled, dismountable design, excels at berthing and dredging in both coastal areas and inland rivers. It operates efficiently under conditions similar to navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P.R. China.
This powerful dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment classified below class III, adhering to the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
Crafted with precision, the hull of the YS-CSD450 dredger consists of three main sections: one central main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are designed for seamless transport via road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks, this system ensures quick assembly. The dredger's efficiency is further enhanced by its Marine engine, which drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump powers equipment such as cutter, swing, and ladder winches, as well as the spud rams.
Engineered for excellence, the all-welded steel hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using durable bolts.
The hull is constructed using CCSB-grade shipbuilding steel plates, ensuring superior durability and performance.
