The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel and designed to be self-dismantling, is ideal for versatile berthing and dredging operations in coastal and inland waters. It operates efficiently in navigation areas classified as 'A' and below, adhering to the stringent standards of the P. R. China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code.
Capable of excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, the dredger meets the rigorous Class III specifications as per the dredging engineering construction techniques set forth by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
This innovative dredger comprises three main pontoons—a central engine room pontoon and two side pontoons. Designed for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water, it features a cutting-edge rapid connection-disconnection system with deck-level bolts, front and rear hull bolts, and bottom hooks. The dredger's powerhouse is a marine engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn energize all auxiliary equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Built with all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary durability and strength for rigorous dredging tasks. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using robust bolts.
