1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It can berth and dredge in diverse waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers, under navigation area 'A' or below as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to class III standards as per the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull, an engineering masterpiece, comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. The design allows the YS-CSD450 dredger to be effortlessly transported via road, rail, or water. A rapid connection-disconnection system, using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom, ensures efficiency. Powered by a Marine engine, the primary engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers essential equipment like the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Built with all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon with bolts, ensuring stability.
The hull steel plate is crafted from CCSB shipbuilding steel, ensuring durability and longevity.
