It is adept at berthing and dredging in diverse waters, from coastal areas to inland rivers, complying with the strict conditions of navigation area 'A' or beneath the 'A'-line, as specified in the P. R. China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code.
Engineered for excellence, this dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment below class III, adhering to the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China's dredging engineering construction technique code.
The hull features three meticulously designed pontoons: a central main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is precision-engineered to enable seamless transport by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger includes a rapid connection-disconnection system for pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front, rear, and bottom hooks. Additionally, it is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn energize essential equipment like the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull delivers the robust strength essential for intensive dredging operations. The side pontoons attach securely to the main pontoon with bolts, ensuring structural integrity.
