The innovative Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with high-grade steel, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. This engineering feat can berth and dredge in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers. It meets the stringent conditions in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as outlined in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull architecture consists of three expertly designed pontoons: one main pontoon housing the engine room and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned to facilitate the transportation of the YS-CSD450 dredger by road, rail, or water. A rapid connection-disconnection system, featuring bolts at deck level, hull front, and rear, as well as hooks at the bottom, simplifies assembly. This dredger is powered by a robust marine engine, which drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic system further powers essential equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with an all-welded steel hull, this dredger boasts the necessary strength for the most demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely fastened to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring stability and durability.
