1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from high-grade steel, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel. This robust machine is adept at berthing and dredging in both coastal and inland waters, adhering to the stringent standards of navigation area 'A' and below, as specified in P. R. China's code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
Designed for excellence, the dredger is proficient in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, performing seamlessly below Class III levels as per the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China's dredging engineering construction technique code.
Crafted with precision, the hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Engineered for versatility, all parts are dimensioned for easy transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts on deck, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with all-welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring stability and durability.
The hull's steel plate is made of CCSB shipbuilding steel, ensuring exceptional resilience and longevity.
