Crafted from robust steel, the Cutter Suction Dredger is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel designed to excel in both coastal and inland waterways. It can adeptly berth and dredge under conditions akin to navigation area 'A' or lower, as per the inland river steel engineering ship standards of the P. R. China.
This versatile dredger efficiently excavates and transports cohesive sediments, adhering to the class III specifications outlined in the dredging engineering construction techniques by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
Comprising three pontoons—one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons—this innovative YS-CSD450 dredger is dimensioned for seamless transport by road, rail, or water. The pontoons feature a swift connection-disconnection mechanism using bolts and hooks at strategic points. The main engine powers the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn drive all other essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
