The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It can securely berth and dredge in diverse waters, be it coastal areas or inland rivers, aligning with navigation area 'A' conditions or those specified under the 'A'-line in the Chinese code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
This state-of-the-art dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to class III standards set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
The hull features a trio of pontoons: a main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Designed for optimal transportability, the YS-CSD450 dredger can be easily moved by road, rail, or water. Its rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons utilizes bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Further enhancing its efficiency, the dredger is powered by a Marine engine. The main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all other equipment such as the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with all-welded steel for superior strength, the hull ensures the dredger's durability in demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull's steel plate is made from high-quality CCSB shipbuilding steel.
