1. Introduction:
Our Cutter Suction Dredger boasts a robust steel construction and a non-self-propelled, dismountable design. It is exceptionally versatile, capable of berthing and dredging in a variety of waters, from coastal areas to inland rivers—complying with the stringent requirements of navigation area 'A' as outlined in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture by P. R. China.
This advanced dredger is designed to efficiently excavate and transport cohesive sediments that adhere to the class III specifications set forth in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources of P. R. China.
The innovative hull design consists of three pontoons: a main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are meticulously dimensioned to ensure seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, the pontoons are secured using bolts at deck level and hooks at the bottom, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly. The dredger is powered by a marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power all equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon with bolts, ensuring stability and durability.
The hull is fabricated using CCSB-grade shipbuilding steel plate, known for its robustness and reliability.
