1. Introduction:
Our Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from robust steel, features a non-self-propelled, dismountable design. Capable of berthing and dredging in both coastal and inland waters, it meets the conditions of navigation area "A" or any classification below the "A"-line as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P.R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to class III specifications outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
Featuring a streamlined hull comprising three pontoons—one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons—our YS-CSD450 dredger is engineered for easy transport by road, rail, or water. The pontoons connect rapidly through a sophisticated system using deck-level bolts, front and rear hull bolts, and bottom hooks. Powered by a marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power all operational equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Crafted from fully welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull's steel plate is made from CCSB shipbuilding-grade material, ensuring durability and reliability.
