The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from resilient steel and designed for disassembly, excels in non-self-propelled operations. It operates seamlessly under navigation conditions akin to 'Area A,' as per the inland river steel engineering ship standards of P. R. China.
Capable of excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, this dredger meets the stringent Class III specifications outlined by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
Featuring a robust hull comprised of three pontoons—a central main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons—every component of the YS-CSD450 dredger is meticulously designed for convenient transportation via road, rail, or water. The dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system facilitated by bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. It is powered by a Marine engine where the main engine drives the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pump, in turn, energizes all equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull offers the necessary strength and durability for demanding dredging operations. Side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon, ensuring stability and reliability.
The hull is fabricated using CCSB shipbuilding steel plate, renowned for its strength and durability.
