The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, boasts a non-self-propelled, dismountable design. This engineering marvel can effortlessly berth and dredge in any waters, whether in coastal areas or inland rivers, adhering to the navigation conditions of area 'A' or beneath the 'A'-line as per the P.R. China’s inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, specifically those below class III, as outlined in the dredging engineering construction techniques by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
Structurally, the hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each part is meticulously measured to facilitate the YS-CSD450 dredger’s transport via road, rail, or water. The dredger is outfitted with a quick connect-disconnect system using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Noteworthy is the Marine engine powering the vessel, with the main engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pump, in turn, energizes all equipment, including the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
Built from all-welded, steel construction, the hull endows the dredger with the requisite strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons attach to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring a secure and durable connection.
