1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, ingeniously constructed with robust steel, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is designed to efficiently berth and dredge in both coastal areas and inland rivers, adhering to conditions similar to navigation area 'A' or those below the 'A'-line as specified by the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, conforming to Class III standards outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull comprises three meticulously engineered pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Every component is precisely dimensioned for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, the pontoons are secured with bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a state-of-the-art marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump powers essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams, ensuring optimal operation.
Constructed entirely of welded steel, the hull endows the dredger with the formidable strength necessary for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely fastened to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull is crafted using top-grade CCSB shipbuilding steel plate, renowned for its durability.
