The Cutter Suction Dredger features robust steel construction and is engineered as a non self-propelled, dismountable vessel. It excels in both coastal and inland waters, performing efficiently in conditions akin to those specified in navigation area 'A' or lower as per the P. R. China's inland river steel engineering ship code. This versatile dredger can dock and operate in diverse aquatic environments, making it an ideal choice for various dredging projects.
Designed for top-notch performance, this dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments classified below Class III, as stipulated in the dredging engineering construction code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is composed of three pontoons: a central main pontoon housing the engine room, and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously sized for seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 model incorporates a swift connection and disconnection system, utilizing bolts at the deck, hull front, and rear, with additional hooks at the base. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn energizes auxiliary equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull ensures the dredger's structural integrity and durability during operations. The connection between the side pontoons and the main pontoon is secured using robust bolts.
The hull is built with high-quality CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, offering exceptional strength and longevity.
