1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from premium steel and of a non self-propelled, dismountable type, is capable of berthing and dredging in various waters, whether in coastal areas or inland rivers. It adheres to conditions similar to those in navigation area 'A' or below, as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code by P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, compliant with class III specifications found in the dredging engineering technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is ingeniously designed with three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Every part is meticulously dimensioned to facilitate transportation by road, rail, or water. Featuring a swift connection and disconnection system, the pontoons are secured with bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Additionally, the dredger is powered by a robust Marine engine. The main engine drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power all other essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Crafted from all-welded, high-strength steel, the hull provides the necessary durability for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring structural integrity during operations.
The hull employs CCSB-grade (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring resilience and longevity.
