1. Introduction:
The Efficient Cutter Suction Dredger boasts a robust steel construction and is designed as a non self-propelled, dismountable vessel. It is adept at berthing and dredging in diverse aquatic environments, from coastal areas to inland rivers, aligning perfectly with the navigation area 'A' standards or those specified below the 'A'-line in the Code for Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacture of the People's Republic of China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments classified under Class III per the Dredging Engineering Construction Technique Code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China.
The vessel features a hull composed of three pontoons: one main pontoon housing the engine room, and two side pontoons. All sections are designed for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger sports a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at the deck level, hull front, and rear, along with bottom hooks. The dredger, powered by a Marine engine, drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump energizes essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Engineered with an all-welded steel hull, the dredger attains the requisite strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull utilizes CCSB shipbuilding steel plates.
