The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with robust steel, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It can berth and dredge seamlessly in both coastal waters and inland rivers, adhering to conditions akin to navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture by the P.R. China.
This dredger is engineered to excavate and transport cohesive sediments, meeting the class III specifications outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The hull structure is composed of three pontoons – a main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are meticulously dimensioned for easy transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. It is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all other equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
The hull's all-welded steel construction delivers the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon with bolts, ensuring stability and durability.
