The Medium Duty Sand Dredger with Hydraulic Cutter is a marvel of steel construction—non self-propelled and easily dismountable—capable of operating in a variety of water bodies including coastal areas and inland rivers. This sophisticated vessel adheres to the stringent standards of navigation area 'A' or below, as specified in the P. R. China code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
Engineered to perfection, this dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment classified under class III of the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is designed with three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Every component is precision-dimensioned to facilitate transportation by road, rail, or water. Featuring a rapid connection-disconnection system, the pontoons are seamlessly integrated using bolts at deck level, the hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a robust Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. This hydraulic pump, in turn, energizes all essential equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
