1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, featuring steel construction and a dismountable, non self-propelled design, is engineered to operate efficiently in both coastal areas and inland rivers. This versatile machine complies with conditions similar to those in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code of P. R. China.
Engineered for versatility, the dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment classified below class III, as per the dredging engineering construction techniques outlined by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The robust hull is composed of three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned to facilitate seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, secured by bolts at deck level and the hull's front and rear, with hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a high-performance Marine engine, which drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump powers essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams, ensuring efficient operation in all conditions.
Constructed from all-welded steel, the hull is designed to provide the necessary strength required for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using a robust bolting system.
The hull is fabricated using premium CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, ensuring durability and longevity.
