1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable vessel capable of docking and dredging in various waters, both coastal and inland. It operates effectively in conditions similar to navigation area 'A' or lower, as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code of P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments below class III, in accordance with the dredging engineering construction guidelines issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
Built with three pontoons—one main (engine room) and two side pontoons—this dredger’s components are designed for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. It features a swift connection-disconnection system using bolts at deck level, the hull's front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn power all other equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with an all-welded steel hull, the dredger possesses the essential strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull's steel plates are made of CCSB shipbuilding steel, ensuring durability and reliability.
