The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from high-quality steel and designed for non-self-propulsion, is easily dismountable. It can berth and operate in various waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers, under conditions equivalent to or below the 'A'-line as specified in the P. R. China inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code.
This versatile dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to the Class III standards set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
The robust hull features three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Designed for easy transport by road, rail, or water, the YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which then powers auxiliary equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely from welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring structural integrity.
