1. Introduction:
Our state-of-the-art Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed with robust steel, is a versatile, non self-propelled, and easily dismountable vessel. Designed by Heng Peng, it is capable of berthing and dredging in any waters, both coastal and inland. This dredger meets the stringent standards of navigation area 'A' or lower as per the inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code of P. R. China.
This dredger is expertly engineered to excavate and transport cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The innovative hull design features three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned for easy transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger incorporates a swift connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, secured by bolts at the deck level, hull front, and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers additional equipment such as cutters, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
The hull boasts an all-welded, steel construction that provides the necessary durability for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
Constructed with CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, the hull ensures maximum strength and durability.
