1. Introduction:
Introducing the Cutter Suction Dredger, a marvel of steel construction with a non self-propelled, dismountable design. This versatile dredger is capable of berthing and dredging in various waters, whether in coastal areas or inland rivers. It operates efficiently in conditions defined by navigation area "A" or below the "A"-line as per China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code.
This advanced dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III standards set by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
The hull of the dredger is meticulously crafted from three pontoons: one robust main pontoon (engine room) and two sturdy side pontoons. Designed for seamless transportation by road, rail, or water, the YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system for its pontoons, using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, this dredger's main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed entirely of welded steel, the hull provides the strength and durability necessary for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts, ensuring structural integrity.
The hull sports high-grade CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, guaranteeing resilience and longevity.
