The Efficient Cutter Suction Dredger boasts a robust steel construction and is of the non self-propelled, dismountable type. It is designed to berth and dredge in various water bodies, be it coastal areas or inland rivers, under similar conditions to navigation area "A" or below the "A"-line, as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger is adept at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment classified under class III, as per the dredging engineering construction techniques outlined by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
Built for efficiency, the hull features three distinct pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. These components are designed for easy transportation by road, rail, or water. The rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons uses bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. The dredger is powered by a reliable marine engine, which drives both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump further powers all auxiliary equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Crafted from fully welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull is constructed from CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and longevity.
