1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger features a robust steel construction and is a non-self-propelled, dismountable type. This versatile machine can berth and dredge in diverse waters, including coastal areas and inland rivers, adhering to conditions in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the P. R. China inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code.
Our dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, meeting the standards below Class III of the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is composed of three sturdy pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Designed for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water, the YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. It is powered by a marine engine, with the main engine driving the dredge and hydraulic pumps. These pumps, in turn, power all other equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Crafted with all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull steel plate utilized is CCSB, a high-grade shipbuilding steel plate.
