1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, showcasing robust steel construction and a dismountable design, is crafted to serve non-self-propelled operations. It can seamlessly berth and perform dredging activities in various water bodies, including coastal zones and inland rivers. These operations are conducted under conditions akin to those specified in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P.R. China.
This dredger is proficient in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to the Class III specifications as detailed in the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The hull is an assembly of three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. The entire YS-CSD450 dredger is engineered to be transportable by road, rail, or water. It features a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump, in turn, powers all other equipment, including the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams.
The hull boasts an all-welded, steel construction, ensuring the strength required for efficient dredging operations. Side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon via bolts, enhancing the structural integrity.
The hull steel plates used are CCSB (shipbuilding steel plates), offering superior durability.
