The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is engineered to berth and dredge in any waters, whether along the coastal area or inland rivers, adhering to navigation area 'A' or below as specified in the Code for Inland River Steel Engineering Ship Manufacture of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments that conform to class III of the Code for Dredging Engineering Construction Technique, as issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull architecture consists of three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Designed for easy transport via road, rail, or water, the YS-CSD450 dredger features a swift connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a reliable marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic pump powers all equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed from welded steel, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The steel plates used in the hull are made of high-quality CCSB shipbuilding steel.
