1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, meticulously crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable type. This versatile dredger excels at berthing and dredging in diverse water conditions, be it coastal areas or inland rivers. It's designed to operate efficiently in navigation area 'A' or any similar conditions below the 'A'-line, as per the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
This advanced dredger is engineered to excavate and transport cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III standards specified in the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is an intricate assembly of three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Every part is dimensioned to facilitate transport by road, rail, or water. Equipped with a cutting-edge rapid connection-disconnection system, the YS-CSD450 dredger ensures seamless assembly and disassembly. The dredger is powered by a Marine engine, where the main engine drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. These pumps power all onboard equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Constructed from welded steel, the hull is built to withstand the rigorous demands of dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon, adding to the overall resilience and stability of the vessel.
The hull features CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring top-notch durability and strength.
