1. Introduction:
Introducing the Medium Duty Sand Sucking Vessel with Hydraulic Cutter, a marvel of steel construction. This non-self-propelled, dismountable Cutter Suction Dredger is designed to excel in both coastal waters and inland rivers. It meets the rigorous standards of navigation area 'A' or below as specified in the code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
Purpose-built to excavate and transport cohesive sediment, this vessel adheres to the class III specifications of the dredging engineering construction technique issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The vessel's hull is ingeniously designed with three pontoons: one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons. All components are meticulously dimensioned for effortless transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a quick connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a robust Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Engineered with all-welded steel construction, the hull offers necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon through bolts.
Constructed with CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, the hull ensures durability and reliability.
