The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel construction and designed for disassembly, offers exceptional versatility for operations in coastal zones and inland waterways. Engineered to berth and dredge in conditions akin to navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line, as per the inland river steel engineering ship standards of P. R. China, this dredger sets the standard in dredging technology.
This state-of-the-art dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction technique code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull design comprises a central pontoon (engine room) flanked by two side pontoons. Sized for convenient transport by road, rail, or water, the YS-CSD450 dredger features a swift connection-disconnection system via bolts at the deck, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, the primary engine drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps, which in turn energize all equipment—including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Built with all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations, with side pontoons securely fastened to the main pontoon by bolts.
The hull steel plate utilized is CCSB, a premier shipbuilding steel plate.
