1. Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, meticulously engineered with robust steel construction and a dismountable, non self-propelled design, is perfectly suited for dredging and berthing operations in both coastal waters and inland rivers. It is adept at navigating areas classified under navigation area 'A' or below, as per the inland river steel engineering ship standards of P. R. China.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to Class III specifications set forth in the dredging engineering construction techniques by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull features a trio of pontoons: a central main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons, all designed for easy transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system utilizing bolts and hooks for efficient assembly. A powerful marine engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic systems, which in turn power essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed entirely of welded steel, the hull offers the necessary strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using bolts.
The hull's steel plating is crafted from CCSB shipbuilding steel plate, ensuring durability and resilience.
