The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with robust steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It excels in berthing and dredging in both coastal areas and inland rivers, adhering to the stringent conditions of navigation area 'A' or lower, as per the esteemed code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P. R. China.
Designed to excavate and transport cohesive sediment, the dredger complies with Class III specifications set forth by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China, ensuring top-notch performance in dredging engineering.
The hull is an assembly of three sturdy pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Meticulously dimensioned, the YS-CSD450 dredger offers seamless transportation by road, rail, or water. It features a rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. Emphasizing efficiency, the dredger is driven by a Marine engine, with the main engine powering the dredge and hydraulic pumps. These pumps, in turn, energize all essential equipment such as the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Crafted from all-welded, steel construction, the hull delivers formidable strength essential for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon via robust bolts.
