1. Introduction:
Our Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from premium steel, features a non self-propelled, dismountable design. It is capable of berthing and dredging in a variety of water bodies, including coastal areas and inland rivers. This vessel is fully compliant with the standards set for navigation area 'A' or below, as outlined in the P.R. China's code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to the Class III specifications in the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China.
The hull features a robust design with three main pontoons: one central engine room pontoon and two side pontoons. Each component is specifically dimensioned to facilitate easy transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger includes a swift connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and bottom hooks. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
With an all-welded steel construction, the hull provides the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon through a bolting system.
The hull is constructed using high-grade CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, ensuring durability and strength.
