The Cutter Suction Dredger, constructed from robust steel, is a non-self-propelled, and dismountable marvel capable of efficiently berthing and dredging across a variety of aquatic settings—whether in coastal areas or inland rivers. Designed to operate under conditions similar to those in navigation area 'A' or below the 'A'-line as specified by Chinese inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing codes.
This versatile dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to class III standards as outlined in the dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull is ingeniously constructed of three pontoons: one main (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned for easy transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers all essential equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
Built with all-welded steel construction, the hull delivers the necessary strength required for effective dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon using durable bolts.
The steel plates used in the hull are high-quality CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate).
