Product Description

Introduction

The steel-constructed Cutter Suction Dredger, designed as a non-self-propelled and dismountable vessel, boasts versatility for berthing and dredging in various waters, encompassing coastal zones and inland rivers. It can operate effectively under conditions akin to or less demanding than those designated in navigation area "A" or beneath the "A"-line stipulated by the Chinese regulations for inland river steel engineering ship construction.

This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, with a classification not surpassing Grade III as outlined in the dredging engineering construction technique guidelines issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of China.

The dredger's hull comprises three pontoons: a central pontoon housing the engine room and two flanking pontoons. Each component is dimensioned to facilitate transportation via road, rail, or waterway. The pontoons feature a swift connection-disconnection system facilitated by bolts at deck level, the hull's extremities, and bottom hooks. Furthermore, the dredger is powered by a marine engine, where the main engine serves as the driving force for both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump, in turn, powers auxiliary equipment including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.

The hull is entirely crafted from welded steel, granting it the requisite strength for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon. The hull utilizes CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), guaranteeing resilience and dependability in harsh dredging conditions.
