The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted from robust steel and featuring a non self-propelled, dismountable design, is engineered to perform efficiently in both coastal waters and inland rivers. It complies with the stringent standards of navigation area 'A' or lower, as specified in the PRC's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code. The dredger’s versatility makes it an indispensable asset in diverse dredging operations.
Capable of excavating and transporting cohesive sediments up to class III, as defined by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China, this dredger is designed to meet high industry standards in dredging engineering construction techniques.
The hull’s design includes three pontoons: a main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is engineered for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The dredger employs an efficient rapid connection-disconnection system using bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a robust marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and the hydraulic pump. This hydraulic system powers all essential equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
