1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted with high-quality steel and designed for non self-propelled, dismountable operations, is ideal for berthing and dredging across coastal areas and inland rivers. It meets the stringent standards of navigation area "A" or below as specified by China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacture code.
This versatile dredger excels at excavating and transporting cohesive sediments, adhering to the class III guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China for dredging engineering construction techniques.
The hull features a robust design comprising three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is precisely dimensioned for easy transportation by road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a quick connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at deck level and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a reliable Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams, among other essential equipment.
Built with all-welded steel construction, the hull ensures the necessary strength for rigorous dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon with robust bolts.
The steel plates used in the hull are made from CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), ensuring durability and high performance.
