1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, forged from robust steel construction and featuring a dismountable, non self-propelled design, excels in both coastal and inland waterways. Adaptable to navigation areas matching or below the 'A'-line as outlined in the P.R. China's inland river steel engineering ship manufacturing code, it is perfectly suited to a wide array of dredging conditions.
This versatile dredger is engineered to excavate and transport cohesive sediments, adhering to the class III specifications set forth by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P.R. China, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Comprising three key pontoons—one main pontoon (housing the engine room) and two side pontoons—this dredger is designed for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. Its innovative rapid connection-disconnection system, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom, streamlines assembly and disassembly. Powered by a Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge pump and hydraulic pump, which in turn powers essential equipment like the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and spud rams.
Constructed with all-welded steel for maximum strength and durability, the side pontoons are securely bolted to the main pontoon, ensuring stability during dredging operations.
The hull is crafted from CCSB (shipbuilding steel plate), providing exceptional resilience and durability.
