The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted entirely with steel construction, is a non self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is proficient in berthing and dredging in various water bodies, be it coastal waters or inland rivers. Designed to navigate areas under the 'A' line as per the code for inland river steel engineering ships by P. R. China, this versatile dredger is built for reliability and efficiency.
This advanced dredger is designed to excavate and transport cohesive sediment, meeting the criteria for class III specified in the code for dredging engineering construction techniques issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The hull features three meticulously constructed pontoons: a primary pontoon (engine room) and two auxiliary side pontoons. Each segment is dimensioned for seamless transport via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger boasts a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, utilizing bolts at the deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. Powered by a robust Marine engine, the main engine drives both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic system, in turn, powers critical components like the cutter, swing, ladder winches, and spud rams, ensuring seamless operation.
With an all-welded steel construction, the hull offers unparalleled strength essential for demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely connected to the main pontoon via bolts, ensuring a rigid and reliable structure.
