1.Introduction:
The Cutter Suction Dredger, crafted of robust steel construction, is a non-self-propelled, dismountable marvel. It is designed to berth and dredge efficiently in diverse waters, from coastal areas to inland rivers. This versatile machine meets the stringent conditions of navigation area 'A' or below, as specified in the inland river steel engineering ship code of P. R. China.
This dredger excels in excavating and transporting cohesive sediment, adhering to the class III standards set by the dredging engineering construction code issued by the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of P. R. China.
The ingeniously designed hull comprises three pontoons: one main pontoon (engine room) and two side pontoons. Each component is meticulously dimensioned for seamless transportation via road, rail, or water. The YS-CSD450 dredger features a rapid connection-disconnection system, utilizing bolts at deck level, hull front and rear, and hooks at the bottom. It is powered by a Marine engine, with the main engine driving both the dredge and hydraulic pumps. The hydraulic system powers all auxiliary equipment, including the cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams.
The hull's all-welded steel construction ensures the dredger's resilience and durability during demanding dredging operations. The side pontoons are securely attached to the main pontoon with bolts, providing added stability.
The hull is constructed using premium CCSB shipbuilding steel plates, offering exceptional strength and durability.
